Showdown: Legends of Wrestling (2004) was the final entry in Acclaim’s Legends series, featuring an expanded roster of wrestling icons including Hogan, Andre, and Sting. It aimed to deliver the definitive legends experience with updated graphics and more match types.

Unfortunately, it was plagued by bugs, poor AI, and sluggish controls, leading to harsh criticism. Despite its incredible roster, the technical shortcomings overshadowed the fan service. It is remembered as a disappointing finale for a promising concept, as Acclaim soon folded thereafter.
