Booking Encore (2006) was Mat Dickie’s follow-up to Wrestling Encore, focusing more heavily on the booking side of wrestling simulation. Players could run promotions, sign and release talent, manage finances, and book cards while still having the option to simulate or play out matches using MDickie’s quirky 3D engine.
Though visually crude and mechanically rough, its sandbox design allowed for endless creativity. Fans could customize rosters, simulate dream promotions, and tell unique stories. It built on MDickie’s reputation as an indie innovator, offering wrestling fans tools to control both the creative and gameplay aspects of their federations.
